Ping a colleague, team members in a conversation, or even the whole team to get the quick answer or deliver a solution that needs an instant reaction.

Mention a team member on web or desktop apps

1. Type the @ symbol in the message field at the bottom of the chat window. Start writing a team member’s name to see the list of team members to choose from
2. Navigate the list to select a specific team member you need to mention
3. Press Enter to send the message with a mention to the conversation

Once the mention is sent to Chanty, the mentioned member will get a notification.

Mention a team member on mobile apps

1. Tap the @ symbol and choose the team member from the list
2. Tap Send button to post your message to a conversation

Mention whole team or all members in a conversation

You can announce your message to multiple members with mentions on Chanty.

@team lets you mention all members on a team
@here helps to mention all members in a current conversation

On web or desktop apps

2. Press Enter to send the message with a mention to the conversation

On mobile apps

1. Tap the @ symbol and choose the @ team or @ here mentions from the list
2. Tap Send button to post your message to a conversation

Once the mention is sent to Chanty, all team members in the current conversation will get a notification.
